- ICT for Energy Efficiency - Sharing best practices

This workshop is organised in the framework of the EU Sustanaible Energy Week. Local or regional representatives interested in ICT solutions for Smart Cities and Regions are invited to participate. The results of a study on initiatives related to the contribution of ICT to energy efficiency at local and regional level will be presented. Particular attention will be given to the guide/toolkit with information about relevant case-studies and specific recommendations for policy makers at local and regional level. A wiki-type website, aiming to facilitate a continuous best practices sharing process, will be presented. These presentations will be followed by a discussion on the main findings and recommendations of the study.

This event will bring together employers, Non Governmental Organisations and advocacy groups working on accessibility in the workplace, promoting employability for people with disability and a more diverse and richer workforce. The event will provide an open forum for discussion, showcasing some of the best practices of NGOs and employers.
