Description:

The Computing with Perceptions Research Unit of the European Centre for Soft Computing wishes to appoint a research assistant in the area of robust statistics, with a focus on real-world applications dealing with subjective assessments (quality evaluation of food, products or services; opinion polls; customized design; marketing; and so on).

Required academic degree:

Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar.

Candidate's requirements:

Sound background in statistics.
R programming skills.
Fluent English (written and spoken).

Additional valuable skills:

Statistics for sensory and consumer science.
Master in Data Analysis, Soft Computing, or related areas.
Basic knowledge on fuzzy techniques.
Programming in Java.

General Conditions:

Initial 1 year contract that could be extended
Gross yearly salary: 21.800€
