At the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (International University of Catalonia) we are looking for a research assistant to join our research group on end of life care for patients.
The group studies patient care in advanced processes from a clinical perspective, particularly towards the end of life. The research group currently brings together researchers from diverse clinical settings: Nursing, Psychology, Medicine (internal, geriatrics, oncology, paediatrics ...) as well as humanities. However it is open to incorporating researchers who are able to contribute based on different perspectives.
This project allows a new researcher to join a truly multidisciplinary research group that has experience in designing and carrying out studies over a period of seven years:
Main areas of responsibility:
Participation in national and international research projects
Writing up study projects
Potential participation in data collection
Processing and analysing the data collected
Writing up the scientific discussion and subsequent debate
Research support: drafting, monitoring, etc.
Young pre-doctoral / post-doctoral researcher who is available full-time or almost full-time.
A Bachelor's or other undergraduate degree, preferably a Master's degree
A doctorate is not essential, but would be valuable
Previous publications: this is not essential, but would be valuable
Strong skills in the area of analysis and synthesis and good critical judgment
Excellent writing skills (not necessarily in English)
Good initiative and self-management skills
